Actually it isn’t just about moving to Liverpool, it looks like The Jam: About The Young Idea Exhibition is actually increasing in size.

You probably remember (or possibly even attended) the original Somerset House exhibition last summer, which had rave reviews from pretty much everyone. If you missed it, don’t worry, as the exhibition gets a reboot in Liverpool at the Cunard Building in Liverpool between 1st July and 25th September 2016.

We suspect everything from the previous exhibition will be there, although curators Nicky Weller, Russell Reader and Den Davis have been searching through archives for additional content, digging up some previously unseen gems in the process. So more Jam for your money.

On top of that, there will be a new interactive element to the show, with a free app allowing visitors to interact with the exhibits by scanning codes. You can also save five of their favourite exhibits from the show to a mobile device to enjoy later down the line.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Nicky Weller said: ‘Last year at Somerset House we were taken aback at how the fans reacted to the exhibition. People from around the world got in contact saying that they wanted to see more, so we have spent the last year working on this show which is without doubt the most in depth look at the band there has been.’

This is said to be the last time the exhibition will appear in the UK, so if you missed the London showcase, don’t miss this. Tickets are on sale from Friday 27th May, with only a limited number will be sold for each day. Pricing is up to £9.50, with discounts for off-peak times.

You can get them from that day via www.nicetimeinc.com.
