Red

You might not have heard of the band, but you might have heard of some of the personnel in The Red Inspectors – or at least, the bands they've been a part of.

We're talking Andy Lewis (Paul Weller/solo) on bass, Alex Richards (The Bluetones/Mohair) on keyboards, Pete Twyman (Pimlico/Paul Weller) on guitar and Miles Chapman (Pimlico/Our Friends Electric) on drums. What do they sound like? Well, the likes of Corduroy, Mother Earth, The Sandals, The Prisoners, Red Snapper, Boys Wonder, The James Taylor Quartet, The KPM All-Stars and Paul Weller have all been mentioned.

Their debut album Are We The Red Inspectors? Are We is set for release on January 16th on vinyl, CD and download, and will be available for sale at the launch show. That show takes place at The Borderline, Manette St, London W1D 4JB on Thursday January 12th 2012, with support from the excellent Broken Vinyl Club and some DJ-spun sounds.

Tickets are available now for £5 and available from here.
