Twiggy

As well as the Beatles to Bowie exhibition, the National Portrait Gallery are also hosting a small display to celebrate Twiggy's sixtieth birthday. Published to accompany that display is Twiggy: A Life in Photographs, a book in which explores the multiple of iconic images taken of the model, ranging from the launch of her career in 1966 up to the present day.

Over its 144pp, the book uses 100 illustrations to show some of her most famous and frequently reproduced shots alongside her own photos and memorabilia. Twiggy's own description of  the images and her relationship with the photographers sits alongside contributions by curators Terence Pepper and Robin Muir making it a must for all fans of the sixties and those fascinated by the modelling industry.

The book is available to buy for £12.50 from Amazon
