Uncut with Mod Soundtrack CD

Uncut

Probably the most hit and miss of all the monthly music magazines, Uncut is worth a look this week, both for the lead feature and the CD.

The cover act is the Small Faces, with a 13-page (I think) feature inside, focusing mainly on Steve Marriott. Nothing all that new, but well worth a read if you want another insight.

The included CD is called Here Come The Nice – A Mod Soundtrack. Whilst not digging too deeply, there have been  much, much worse offered at full price. Probably more of a beginner's guide to some 60s grooves or one for the car. Certainly worth owning for both of those reasons. Tracklisting over the page.
