If your new year's resolution is to get out to more clubs, well, you're in luck as there's plenty coming up all the country (and indeed world). If you're in the Nottingham area, you should check out The Hoochie Coochie Club.

Taking place at The Central Music Venue, 310 Huntingdon Street, Nottingham, NG1 3LH and running from 9pm – 3am, it offers 50s & 60s Rhythm & Blues, Rockabilly, Rare Soul and 'Shakin' Sleaze' (make of that what you will) for the £10 admission price. Live on stage The Excellos – if you dig vintage beat blues like Slim Harpo, Muddy Waters, Elmore James, etc.. then the Excellos are really gonna shake your boogie!
DJs Mouse (Dingwalls – London), Mace (Bidds Soul Club), Tom Lawrie (The Rubber Room), Kev Connellan (No More Doggin') and Craig Simpson (Bert's Apple Crumble). Free daytime warm-up 2pm – 6pm. Advance tickets available from www.ticketweb.co.uk.

Live on stage The Caezars – 'wild southern 4 piece rockabilly dynamite'.  DJs Little Carl (Horn Of Plenty – Herts), Big Jon (Ska n' B – Cambridge), Tom Lawrie (The Rubber Room), Kev Connellan (No More Doggin') and Craig Simpson (Bert's Apple Crumble).
