After running successfully every Friday since the end of 2007, Walking In Rhythm is to relaunch as a weekly Saturday session upstairs at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Club in Soho on the 6th September.

Full details are:
Walking In Rhythm @ Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club (upstairs bar)
47 Frith Street, Soho, London, W1D 4HT (opposite Bar Italia)
Saturday 6th September (and every Saturday therafter), running from 9pm – 3am. If you’ve not been before, the upstairs space at Ronnie Scott’s (pictured above) is a 150-capacity, 1960s style bar worthy of the great Ronnie Scott himself.

Jean-Paul S├ęculaire from Right On! joins resident DJ Jimbo at the relaunch party and promises to play "nothing but the finest vintage black dance music on original vinyl". In other words, you can expect a mix of soul, rhythm & blues, jazz, funk, ska, reggae and Latin sounds from the 50s, 60s and early 70s.

Jean-Paul has a free guestlist for the night and is offering places to all Modculture readers. To take advantage of this offer, just drop an email to [email protected] with the full names of anyone wanting to come along.
