That’s because this upgraded take on a classic comes with an upgraded price. We’ll mention that in a moment. For now, let’s look at the jacket itself.
As you might imagine, this is the same G9 we all know and love in terms of the style. That will always remain unchanged (you would hope). The difference here is the construction.
This one has a shell made of Ventile. That’s a natural, all-weather, breathable fabric that is warm, windproof and rain-resistant. Pretty much everything you need if you live in somewhere like the UK.
Outside of that, the jacket is lined with Fraser Tartan and has the classic two-button Baracuta collar, front pockets with button-down flap and ‘Umbrella’ back vent.
Only one colour, which is the stone. That price? You are looking at £489 if you want one of these in your wardrobe.
