These have always been popular at full price, so a 1960s-style UO X Dansette Bermuda standing record player at a heavily discounted price is likely to please a lot of people.
This is the red version of the ‘remake’ of the classic Dansette by Crosley, a collaboration between that company and Urban Outfitters. It looks much the same as a Bermuda, it plays your records band it stands tall like a piece of furniture thanks to those long tapered legs.
It has a headphone jack, RCA Audio out, dynamic full-range stereo speakers and is compatible with all portable audio devices. Obviously audiophiles aren’t going to go for this and if you are playing £100+ for a single, it isn’t for you. But if you just have a pile of vinyl to play, it might be worth a look.
Usually it sells for £250, right now it is down to £185 for the Black Friday period. Of course, there are vintage examples on eBay too.
