Do you recall the Small Faces Christmas cards from a few weeks back? If you do, you’ll recognise the name Piper Gates Design and the look of the Small Faces poster and birthday card, which are a variation on that theme.
Perhaps we should have mentioned these earlier, but then again, perhaps not as the Pop Boutique 1960s-style dresses at ASOS are now much cheaper.
Now this is a bizarre release. I never knew Ray Charles made a film, let alone one in mid-sixties London. But Ballad In Blue exists and it’s coming out via Network this year.
Mixed thoughts on this, but Terry Hall’s new radio show on BBC Radio 6 Music should still be worth checking out.
The book has been around for a while, so you might have an earlier edition. But The Style Council: Mr Cool’s Dream by Iain Munn will be returning once more soon, with a 2014 edition.
