Mixed

One for your diaries, as it's still a while off yet. The A Little Mixed Up event in Glasgow that is.

Now in its third year, Double Breasted Modzine's A Little Mixed Up Music Festival celebrates the best of Scottish scene bands, as well as featuring some from 'across the border'

This year, from the south,The Mynd Set, make the journey north to join, Modus, Les Bof!, The Laynes, Berry Tweed and The Chasers and The Amphetameanies – everything from Ska to Soul, Garage to Gallic Beat, and Soulful, Psychedelic Hammond Grooves.

There's also DJs from Double Breasted, Melting Pot, Starla Records and Nowt But Northern spinning records around the bands. That date is Saturday 26 November at Ivory Blacks, Oswald Street, Glasgow from 6pm – 3am. Tickets are £12.50 in advance and on sale now from www.tickets-scotland.com or grab an early bird ticket and save a couple of quid from http://www.wegottickets.com/event/126819. Alternatively, it's £15 on the night.  For further information email [email protected].
