If you are a student of Adidas, then you should recognise these Adidas Gazelle Perfect trainers as a one-to-one reissue of the 1991 Gazelle shape.
Yes, Adidas has been digging in its archives and as a result, has found the 1991 version of the ever-changing (albeit subtly) Gazelle. Those constant changes mean this shape was a very short-lived one and as a result, is rarely seen.
The result is a shoe with a suede (vintage-effect) upper plus leather stripes, heel tab, and gold brandin, with the dimensions subtly different to shoes before and after. The tongue is distinctive too – another feature that changed almost year on year in the 1990s.
There will be two colours of this sought after reissue (another being a blue that should be land on Friday – we’ll update as soon as we see it). If you want the collegiate green shown here, that seems to have landed a little early at End. £79 is the price.
