If the Adidas Japan hasn’t wiped you out, then you might want to put a bit aside for the Adidas Paris City Series trainers too.
Update: These have just gone on sale at Hip for £75.
Yes, two big-name Adidas reissues landing at pretty much the same time. You would think that Adidas might want to spread them out a bit. But the label probably knows that these and the Japan will sell out regardless. There are enough fans and collectors out there to guarantee both will fly out immediately.
This is another archive reissue, as you might have guessed and back in its original form. You might have noticed (or even bought) the limited edition End x Adidas Paris trainers, which kept the shape but came in an all-white colour. Not so this one.
The reissue here is a classic City Series show from the 1970s and extremely sought-after one due to a lack of reissues over the years. There have been a couple, but not in great numbers.
This one is similar to the Japan in terms of being another low-profile shoe, but its shape is distinctive. As is the colour mix of blue with red details. There’s also a white sole unit, suede toe and gold branding to the side.
It also shares another thing with the Japan, which is limited numbers, although the price of this one is cheaper. You are looking at £75, which is more in line with past City Series reissues.
The launch date for the Paris seems to be the same as the Japan trainers, So once again, midday on 27th August 2020 unless that changes (and if it does I will update these pages).
The same likely retailers too. So head to Adidas, End Clothing, Hip Store, Size? and Sneakers n Stuff if you want to be in the mix for these.
