Manchester-based heritage brand Aertex has gone back to its past for the newly-launched Aertex Gold range, which is apparnetly inspired by the World Cups of the 60s and early 70s.

Indeed, Aertex was worn by the England squad in 1970s, so the company can actually claim a connection. Sadly, these aren't replica Bobby Moore pieces though. Instead, it's a range of 11 designs inspired by shirts worn 40 or so years back, made in a modern breathable 'Aertex Fabric', with styles ranging from crew necks to polo shirts in various colours.

Expect to pay between £25 and £30, with the shirts hitting stores (and Aertex Online) in April. More images over the page.
