College scarves have long been a popular thing, but the Appleberry college scarves in football colours are an interesting twist.
College scarves have been popular on the Mod scene for decades and there are plenty out there, not least from places that sell academic gear. But if you don’t want to be associated with a particular college, you can attach yourself to a football (or rugby) team instead. That’s the selling point here.
You can take your pick from pretty much every football and rugby club out there. Some of those colours are fairly generic, not least because so many clubs play in the same shades. But others are a little more obvious to the eye.
As I said, rugby teams too, but also European leagues as well as British clubs. All are 100 per cent unofficial (as you might have guessed), but on the plus side, that also means a lack of branding.
