You have to say that Baracuta has certainly gone upmarket (and got a little more interesting) since being taken on by the WP Lavori company. In fact, it looks like the label is now hunting back through its archives, reissuing items like the 1980s Baracuta G4 shirt collar jacket.
Personally I don’t recall seeing it around then or later, but this is a vintage design from 30 or so years back, using the basis of the G4, but replacing the usual funnel collar with a more open ‘shirt’ collar.
Other detailing includes a water repellent outer shell, Fraser Tartan lining, front flap pockets, umbrella back vent and side adjusters.
It is made in the UK and retails online for £275.
