Thanks to Luke for letting us know about his 1963 Lambretta Li 125 Series 3 on eBay.

It’s actually a classified rather than an auction, so we’re talking a set price for a scooter that’s actually had a recent outing on TV. That was on an AXA advert from a few years back, which you can view here. A nice talking point.

Anyway, the seller has done his ‘utmost to restore or replace all parts with originals’ and is still painted in its original duck egg blue colour, which accounts for it not being perfect. All the bodywork is also original, which is why this scooter was picked up for the advert.

Some modern upgrades to the engine though, with a 12V Electronic Kit, 185cc Cylinder Kit, 42mm AF Rayspeed Clubman exhaust, 22mm Jetex Carburettor, Progressive Front Fork Springs and a Kill-start Ignition Switch.

Overall it is described as ‘incredibly reliable’ and has just passed its MOT. It also comes with all the applicable paperwork and Lambretta Club of Great Britain dating certificate, plus some original parts if you want those too.

The classified price on the listing is £3,995 and the scooter is based in Portsmouth. See the listing for some close-up and details shots.
