Beat Boutique in Manchester

Beat Boutique
opens its doors on Friday 8th February with a very special guest -legendary funk DJ Jazzman Gerald, alongside Andy Madhatter (Vox Pop records) and resident soul spinners Paul ‘Jnr’ Walker, Liam Q and Paul B for a playlist of black american soul music on 100% vinyl.

The idea is to offer a regular alternative to Manchester’s tired old indie and dance scene – whether it works depends on whether you turn up to support it.

Manchester Met Students Union
99 Oxford Rd –  just up from the BBC
Time: 10pm till 3am
Admission: £5 students, £6 others
