An interesting concept, Brian Jones Presents His Favourite Songs on CD and vinyl is well worth a look.
Of course, Brian isn’t around to pick his favourite songs, but they have been put together based on his personal preferences when he was.
This new anthology brings together the original songs – by their creators – that were the making of Brian Jones. These recordings were the reason why he formed a band and the reason why the Rolling Stones were initially so successful.
It was all about forming a group capable of playing and promoting a love of the blues and early soul and R&B.
The album is being made available on 21st June 2019 as either a 3-CD set with a 52-page booklet or a double vinyl set via the Le Chant Du Monde label. If you want either, the CD sells for £12.71 and the vinyl £20.91. Tracks listed below and you can pre-order now.
