The Brighton Mod Weekender 2024 will take place over the Bank Holiday Weekend, from the 22nd to the 25th of August.
The New Untouchables started the Brighton Mod Weekender back in 2004 (after similar events in different locations, such as the Isle of Wight and Margate). But for almost 20 years, the event has grown in its Brighton location, with plenty to keep you entertained this year. Note that many events tend to sell out ahead of the weekend, so make sure you pick up tickets for the ticketed events well in advance.
You can view images of many past Brighton Weekenders in the gallery section of the website. Like one above, for example.
The main evening events are held at Brighton’s best venue, the Komedia, situated just a few doors down from Jump The Gun.
See the flyers above and below for details of the live music acts playing over the weekend. Tickets for the bands are available here.
The Komedia has two rooms with a HUGE WOODEN DANCEFLOOR, AIR CONDITIONING and two well-priced bars with great service and friendly staff.

Nice
hi
please take me in the newsletter
thanks
dirk – belgium (mod)
I woz MOD in the 60’s. I’m now living in Brighton!
Hi I have had a novel, East Coast Blues, published which is set on the east coast and is about a young man coming of age in the 1960s. It covers the music, fashions, tensions-and work conditions of the era. The story goes beyond the usual mods and rockers myths and addresses some uncomfortable truths about those days. It has received 5 star reviews on Amazon and is available on Kindle and from book shops. Would you be interested in promoting this through your web site?
Regards
John
Hey John,
Only just seen your message, please get in contact, is there a movie in your story/book ?
Bill
Hi,
I am not a “MOD” but I do love the music. I have a Honda Dominator converted into a Cafe racer, would it be ok to come along to your event ?
cheers
Ian
Would definatly be interested in these events.
I am a 25 year old who grew up with my grandad who was a Mod and i think the culture has ran through to me
In all my years as a Mod, this will actually be my first weekender. Would it be possible to purchase an access all areas pass/band so we don’t have to pay at the doors or have to wait hours just to be told “sorry, we’re full, no room”
