Uniqlo once sold them, it hasn’t been easy to find affordable vintage-style knitted ties for sale online since. Thankfully, Amazon has it all covered.

There are two individual sellers worth checking out at Amazon. Both are selling knitted toes with positive feedback for not a lot of money. You might have to wait a little time to get them (as they are shipped overseas – but with free delivery).

As for the designs, one retailer sells the plain ones while another sells the patterned ones. As you might have worked out from the price, the ties are polyester, but as most of the vintage ones you see for sale are polyester, that shouldn’t be a huge issue.

Of course, if you want something more premium, you can check someone like Peckham Rye, which will do you a silk knitted tie for £65. You can buy around 13 of these for that price and if it’s just for work or the occasional social, it might not be the most prudent move.

I have picked out a few designs here, with the width around 5cm (2 inches) for the plain ties and the patterned ties just over 2 inches. So pretty slim if that’s what you want.

As for the all-important price, you are looking at £4.99 for the plain knitted ties and £5.69 for the patterned designs. Links below for the relevant sellers.
