We heard about these some months back, but as some crucial details (not least, price) weren't available, we decided to keep our powder dry. But as the Clarks 60th Anniversary desert boot collection has just hit the shelves, it seems like the perfect time to put that right.

Essentially it's a boot for (almost) every decade, the 1950s through to the modern era, the latter covered by a classic desert boot, no doubt to represent the rather faceless era we live in. Before that, we have some more bold designs that include a rather cool Harris tweed boot for the 50s, a Liberty print for the swinging sixties and a union jack design for the Britpop-inspired 90s.

All have a crepe sole and come in a presentation box with a keyring-sized mini version of your chosen shoe. In limited numbers, they sell for around £89, which sounds fairly reasonable. Check out some larger images of the boots over the page.
