Related to our last story really, but I thought it best to give the Growing Up With… The Jam limited edition book its own place really.
It’s another crowdfunding project, with the book being the focal point. That’s described as ‘a beautifully presented coffee table book’ packed with celebrity memories paying tribute to the band that inspired an entire generation.
It’s written by the official exhibition producers Nicky Weller, Gary Crowley, Russell Reader and Den Davis and Published by Nicetime. Those contributing include people inspiring the band and this inspired by them. That includes Ray Davies, Pete Townshend, Adam Ant, Sir Bob Geldof, Mick Jones, Jools Holland, Noel Gallagher, Kelly Jones, Sharleen Spiteri, Martin Freeman, Max Beesley and many many more.
There is also a foreword from all three members of the band, personal recollections and unseen photos.
You can get the book by pledging money in advance. The packages on offer essentially get you the book (in standard and deluxe format) and access to the Jam exhibition. If you want to spend big, you can also get the book plus access to the VIP party too.
