Currently up for auction on the eBay website is this rather stylish 1960 Italian-made Lambretta Li 125 scooter.
This Series 2 scoot has obviously had a lot of work. Things don’t just stay like this for 56 years. In this case, we are talking a full bare metal strip and respray, with the scooter fully etch primed and wax oiled and with a full stainless steel nut and bolt set, all new rubbers and badges. 12v ignition kit and loom. a new stainless stand and exhaust, a new clutch and piston rings, new inner tubes, tyres and brake shoes. That’s quite a list.
It also jas a full MOT, NOVA certificate and is, of course, UK registered. The paint job is described as toffee brown on mini cream with a pearl overlay.
