An absolute gem – this 1960s Dansette Conquest record player with legs is currently up for auction on eBay.
In a red and cream colourway, this particular model has a knitted cloth speaker cover, three brass tipped control knobs for on/off volume, tone and bass, plus the original Dansette logo. All of that mounted on four original Dansette legs.
Inside the full-serviced Dansette, you’ll find a valve amplifier, a four-speed Monarch deck autochanger (16, 33, 45 and 78 speeds), along with auto-play for up to right 7-inch singles. A brand new stylus too, as you would expect from a serviced player.
The cabinet is described as being in excellent condition, which you can see for yourself from the close-up shots on the listing. Right now, if you want it, you’ll need to bid in excess of £5.50.

I am looking for and interested in the red 1960’3 conquest player. I’m having trouble seeing how to purchase it.
