Another lovely looking scooter up for auction, with this 1961 Lambretta Li 125 Series 2 scooter on the receiving end of some extra power too.
It is registered as a 125 but the scooter is fitted with a 175cc conversion kit which includes a 175 head, piston, air filter and large air intake plus a 22mm carburettor. According to the seller, it is also converted to 12v ignition. All of that was done last year (plus replacement breaks), with little use since.
In addition to that, as you might have guessed, this has had a ‘full nut and bolt overhaul’ around five years ago. Downside? Well, the seller points out that the speedometer isn’t wrong properly, but it might just be a new cable needed.
Overall it is described as being in ‘really good condition’ although there is ‘some slight wear’ as it is five years since the restoration.
