Lovely 1963 Lambretta Li 150 scooter, which comes with its own back story.
Anyway, this is an Li 150 in white and green, which has had an engine upgrade type 175cc by the previous owner. Talking of previous owners, it seems that the current and past owner(s) have the original bill of sale for the scooter, which cost £173 and 19 shillings on 5th December 1963 in Cardiff. Nice early Christmas present for someone back in the day.
Fast forward a few years and this has been with the current owner since 2013 (bought as a 60th birthday present), who points out that the ‘ngine starts after 2 or 3 kick starts’ and is in ‘good working order’. It also ‘rides great and is very reliable’.
The owner also adds that he has tried to keep everything as authentic as possible, although it could now do with a respray. £2,700 is the current bid price if you are interested.
