Not one random copy of Mods Monthly, it seems that someone is selling a batch of these things on eBay right now.
But the magazines, also known as The Mod, aren’t cheap – and all are on a ‘Buy It Now’.
The issues for sale are numbers 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Yes, a couple missing, but they’ll show eventually on eBay. As for content, well, you can see inside some of the issues, but generally these were cash-in publications, mixing music and fashion to a mainstream mod market back in 1964. Well, it was at its height.
All the links are below, as well as images of the covers. Some of the issues have the inside content shown or listed, with others just having a generic write-up. Shame, as it would have been nice to see inside more of the issues.
As for prices, like we said, far from cheap. Priced from £50 would you believe?
