Two rarely seen issues of Ready Steady Go! magazine on eBay right now, but you will have to dig deep to get them.
Not just the price that might be a concern too. Obviously the magazine was all about selling copies, so the Beatles loom large in the magazine, along with other pop acts of the day. So if you don’t fancy that, perhaps give it a wide berth.
But these are collectable and there are some interesting features and photos within too, including a feature on the latest dances, the people in the audience and how to get on the show, for example. Probably an interesting read, but I’m guessing you don’t find out much you didn’t already know.
Both issues date from spring and summer 1964 and in terms of condition, issue 1 has some age yellowing and slight creasing to corners, while issue 2 has slight creasing along the spine and pages loose from the lower staple.
£49.99 is the asking price right now.
