From the Fred Perry archives (or rather, inspired by an archive piece), this is described as a ‘matchday classic’ and more formal and easy wearing than the tennis bomber jacket. Note that the tennis bomber is still available right now, with the currently available shade being navy blue. Other shades might be kicking about in the sales, but that’s the one right now.
This jacket in red (which is likely to be a deal maker or a deal-breaker for some) is much cheaper though, which is perhaps because it’s really more of a sweatshirt than a jacket in terms of construction.
