A variation on a well-worn theme, courtesy of the newly-introduced Fred Perry Reissues needlecord bomber jacket.
This is the classic Fred Perry bomber jacket, something I have talked about on numerous occasions in the past. I mentioned the more affordable version recently and the standard version of the jacket is also still available. But this is a different diversion for the jacket.
Perhaps with one eye on it still being a little chilly right now, Fred Perry is offering up a needlecord bomber jacket. It is part of the Reissues range and is said to be an archive design, although I’ve not seen this one around much (if at all) in the past.
You get the corduroy fabric construction in black, as well as colourful stripes on the ribbed trims and that famous Laurel Wreath branding. A zip front, a pair of zip pockets to the side and that’s pretty much it.
A good-looking thing and a little different to the usual tennis bomber. And let’s be honest, standing out from the crowd is what it’s all about. To do that, you’ll need £249.
