You might have hard that the Fred Perry company is 60 years old this year. So to coincide with that, the original 1952 Fred Perry polo shirt has been reintroduced.
The original 1952 shirt has been recreated from archive imagery and illustrations and is being offered in six colourways – white, light fawn, maroon, glacier blue, old navy and black. But there is one difference from the original shirt.
It’s the Laurel. The anniversary shirt has a specially-designed ’52 12′ Laurel on the chest. Ok, it tells you that it’s a limited edition shirt, but for authenticity, it’s a shame that the original logo isn’t there too.
If you fancy one, the two-button, twin-tipped polo is available to buy from tomorrow in Fred Perry stores or online via the link below. No price details as yet, you’ll find out that tomorrow when it goes live.

Had no idea that they did anything but White in 1952. Or is it all just made up?
can anyone tell me if they are same sizing as M1200?
The date under the laurel completely ruins the look. What a shame. Marketing goes wrong… again.
wrong badge, the logo was a sawn on badge back then
£70 is a lot of money. Don’t like the 52/12 bit.
52/12 bit spoils it
A nice tennis top would have been better, it just looks like most freds. £70 I don’t like the 52/12 logo.
