I could pick holes in this design – and I probably will – but the arrival of this Fred Perry short sleeve tartan shirt is certainly worth mentioning.
Let's start with the good – it's a classic short sleeve shirt in a tartan cloth, that cloth being an Italian Albini cotton fabric. If you like the cloth, you might be sold on the design already. But on the downside, the collar looks a bit tame, the hem is a bit odd and the 'classic fit' of this limited edition looks a little wide online. Then again, that's perhaps personal taste.
The price might have an impact too – you are looking at a hefty £99.90 for one – the price of two Brutus shirts with a tartan design. See the back over the page.
