The design looks familiar, but the finish of this Fred Perry suedette tennis bomber jacket is the key difference here.
Yes, this is another variation of the much-loved tennis bomber jacket silhouette by Fred Perry, which is something of a constant in the Fred Perry range and has been for decades. If you want one of those in the standard finish, you can pick that up pretty much anywhere, although the colours change from year to year.
But there are sometimes more substantial variations on the theme and right now, this is one such jacket. It isn’t quite a suede take on the jacket, this one is suedette. Or faux suede if you prefer. In short, it isn’t real suede and as such, it’s far cheaper than that would be.
But this is a made in England tennis bomber jacket, one that was constructed in Wolverhampton for Fred Perry. it looks like suede and most people will presume it probably is suede. And it looks good in that finish too.
Along with the faux suede body are all the usual tennis bomber jacket details. So tennis pockets, striped collar and cuffs, a metal zip front and of course, the label’s Laurel Wreath logo on the chest.
All the sizes are available as this is a new arrival. If you want one, £300 is the price right now.
