What does the football-loving mod wear during a World Cup? Whatever he or she likes to be honest, but the Fred Perry World Cup polo shirts are definitely an option.
These shirts have become something of a tradition. When a World Cup comes around, Fred Perry brings out a special range of its classic polo shirts based on the national colours of the country concerned. Not every World Cup participant gets a shirt sadly but a good number do.
The countries features (at least so far, more might be added) are Belgium, England, France, Germany, Brazil, Japan, Korea, Russia, Spain and Sweden. As I said, more might come along later, but these are the only ones I can find so far.
So the appropriate colour matching the country, with the twin tipping also matching the county’s kit. The Fred Perry Laurel Wreath logo of course, which also has the nation’s name underneath, cotton pique construction and a two-button collar. The full range of sizes as you would expect.
Obviously some of these shirts are likely to be more popular than others and sell through more quickly. So if you want one in your size, perhaps best to act fairly soon rather than leaving it until the first ball has been kicked at the World Cup.
In terms of the price, each one is £65. Note that the shirts are available across different retailers, so see below for the links to the appropriate place to buy each one.
The majority of countries are available at the End Clothing website
The Germany Fred Perry shirt is listed separately at End Clothing.
The remaining shirts are available at Stuarts of London. You can get the France one here, pick up the Spain one here, the Belgium one here and the Korea one here.
