We heard a whisper on these a few weeks back, now we can see the Jazzman exclusive vintage-style 45 record boxes in all their glory.
Lovely things they are too. But cheap they are not – and for good reason.
These cases are custom made in limited numbers, with each one modelled on the cases used in the US in the 1950s ands 1960s. Oh yes, these are built to last too. No plastic or cardboard here, handmade in the EU from a ‘hard wearing’ wood before being covered with an outer wrap and inner lining. Each has been custom built to Jazzman’s exact specifications too and let’s be honest, they know their vinyl.
The outer wrap is described as ‘extremely hard-wearing’ and with ‘anti-scratch properties’ and with ‘excellent long-lasting resistance to water, dirt, abrasion, UV rays, yellowing, cracking, and chipping’. The interior is lined with felt to add extra cushioning and an ‘even more luxurious’ feel.
Available in both single and dual compartment sizes, easily holding 60 or 120 7-inch records respectively, they sell from £59.99.
