I just noticed more stock of these 1960s Fleur De Lys gig posters has landed at Acid Jazz. But not many, so don’t hang about.

Acid Jazz, you might recall, was responsible for the excellent Circles book about the band a few years back. So there is a link there.

The band, a Mod favourite, was one of those who never quite made the transition from being highly-regarded to commercially successful despite a constantly changing sound from beat to psych to soul and, of course, being the backing band for some amazing releases for Sharon Tandy.

A couple of years back, as part of Acid Jazz’s work with the band, they were offering a series of complete reproductions of original 1960s gig posters – direct copies of the original prints, which are pretty much impossible to find in original form these days. 60 years is a long time for the paper to survive. I can only assume, a couple of years on, that some more stock has been discovered.

The reproductions are printed on 150gsm paper in the A2 size, with each signed by Keith Guster from the band.

If you want one, they sell for £10 each, which is more than reasonable.

Note that the posters do not come framed. But you probably guessed that.
