With the official Baracuta site still selling off cheap Harringtons and the company recently sold to Italian brand WP Lavori, I presumed that there would be no new Baracuta stock for a while. Then these new Baracuta G23 Ramsey raincoats suddenly popped up.
They are down as being part of a new autumn/winter 2012 range and also down as limited editions, so there must be other items still in production too. They’re just not being sold directly by Baracuta right now.
Anyway, as you probably know, the Ramsey is a classic sixties raincoat, originally worn by Sir Alf during England’s successful World Cup campaign. The new editions come in a choice of blue or khaki, both with a large collar, concealed button closure, single gun flap to the chest, pockets to the waist, an inverted scalloped storm flap to the reverse, single vent to the hem, internal pockets and a red check lining. It’s also made of a heritage Brisbane Moss fabric.
£220 is the selling price.

Note that there was a previous collaboration version of the coat, which is now in the sale at Baracuta.
