We have mentioned the band in the past in our new bands section, but now you can hear the first long-player by Australian garage band The High Learys.
Out of Perth, the R&B/garage band, which cites ‘1966’ and the likes of Slim Harpo, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Ray Charles, Ann Cole and Rufus Thomas as influences, have their first album released in a couple of weeks on the German Soundflat label. It’s called Here Come The High Learys and is available on long-playing vinyl as well as CD.
