I think these are less reproduced originals and more reimagined works. Either way, the classic Mod gig posters by If You Like Art are worth a look.

Plenty of acts featured, but for the purposes of Modculture, I suspect the posters involving The Who, The Jam and The Specials might be of most interest. They are well done, some aged for some added authenticity and as you can see, the kind of thing that looks good framed.

Note that you can get the posters in different sizes and you can opt for a framed version if you like. But prices do vary, so make sure you check the price of your option. Saying that the framed versions aren’t that expensive in the grand scheme of things. Between £6.99 and £34.99 as a broad range.

Looking through the options here I think the on featuring The Who at the Marquee in 1965 (at the head of the page) is the one that catches my eye the most. But the others also have their merits.

Working down the page after The Who 1965 poster we have a take on the Quadrophenia movie poster, The Jam at The Marquee 1977, The Specials at the Lyceum 1979, The Specials final gig in Dublin 1981, The Jam’s final gig in Brighton, The Jam at the Hope and Anchor in 1977 and The Specials at the Electric Ballroom.

All of them and more are available online, although numbers of each seem to be limited. All worth a look, especially if you are a fan of the band or bands concerned.
