Spotted over at Retro To Go, these Mod, soul and ska cushions by Rat Rock are available in various sizes and with a wide number of designs.
But they are not all designs that come under the Mod, soul and ska banner. There are over 400 designs in total, many hovering around classic rock and indie territory. But there are a number of those designs that might well appeal to readers of these pages.
All are produced by Redbubble, which uses the designs across a variety of different products. So if you don’t want a cushion you might want one of the designs on a poster and notebook or even mugs, bath mats and shower curtains – and more on top of that.
Personally, I think these classic logos and designs look great on a cushion or pillow and if you want something interesting for the sofa or bed, do check them out.
They are available in various sizes, as well as being made for both your sofa and as a larger floor cushion. But these are just covers, so you will need to find the inside filling yourself. Can’t see that being a difficult or expensive job – you’ll have the size when you order.
As I said, over 400 designs in total, but a few likely to have more appeal to a Mod audience and I have picked out a few that might appeal to you.
At the head of the page is the classic Small Faces logo on a mustard background. It’s an eye-catcher and available in various sizes and as a floor cushion.
Working down the page, there is also a cushion based on the poster for the Dance Craze movie, a logo for The Kinks on a blue background and more 2 Tone – specifically a design featuring The Specials.
Further down is a Stax logo cushion, a logo for The Specials, The Small Faces Ogdens design, a design featuring The Who, another 2 Tone and one with The Yardbirds logo on a blue background.
Prices vary, but start at £14.68, with the large floor cushions starting at around £40. Note that if you have your eye on any for Christmas, you only have a couple of days left to order. You can browse the full range at the Rat Rock at Redbubble website.
