Something possibly of interest to a number of you – the Mostly Jazz Festival 2011, which is running in Birmingham’s Moseley Park on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd July 2011.

The initial batch of acts has been announced, with Booker T heading things up, closing the festival on the Sunday. The rest of the festival features bands over two days (one for new acts, one for more established), with the likes of the Matthew Herbert Big Band, Cinematic Orchestra, Pigbag and many more also on the bill. The DJ line-up is headed up by Craig Charles and Gilles Peterson.

Full details are still to be announced, but there's plenty of detail on the website, plus details of how to get tickets. Check it out if you fancy some jazz over summer.
