I have mentioned this place in the past, but right now there is a new stock of Desert Boots at the Clarks Outlet Store at a reduced price.
If you haven’t encountered the Outlet Store in the past, let me explain. Clarks rarely discounts its Clarks Originals range, of which the Desert Boot is a key component. Clarks runs plenty of deals, but it usually exempts all of its classics. Some retailers discount (and I mention those at sale time( but rarely Clarks itself.
Instead, Clarks tends to drop its excess stock into its own Outlet Store, which is a place it doesn’t go out of its way to promote. Perhaps because it would prefer you to buy the full price stock. So you have to remember to keep checking it. Which is something I do quite a lot.
Right now, the Outlet has a range of styles, but most are limited editions and collaborations rather than standard Desert Boots. But please do check those out. However, the Outlet has just taken receipt of a full set of classic Desert Boots in brown suede, with most sizes covered and all discounted.
No catch. You can just get a pair cheaper from Clarks indirectly if you don’t hang about. The standard price for the boot you see here is £95, but right now they are down to £65. A significant saving. If you need a new pair, it’s worth a closer inspection.
