The film sounds like it might well be a decent offering. And even better, Jawbone has a Paul Weller soundtrack.
The movie is in cinemas in March and if you like a boxing flick, might be your kind of thing.
The synopsis is at follows:
Jawbone is the story of a former youth boxing champion. Jimmy McCabe (Johnny Harris) is a man in search of hope but looking in all the wrong places. When he hits rock bottom he turns to his childhood boxing club and the only family he has left: gym owner Bill (Ray Winstone), cornerman Eddie (Michael Smiley) and promoter Joe (Ian McShane). Back in training, years after anyone thought he was a contender, he will risk his life to stand tall and to regain his place in the world.
In addition to that, Paul Weller has taken a rare foray into soundtracks. The first (I think) time he has done a complete movie soundtrack, with sounds written by Weller buy developed in conjunction with lead and writer Johnny Harris.
Just seven songs on the album, with a sampler of the music already out there in the form of a YouTube video (see below).
If you want the album, it lands on 10th March 2017 and is available to pre-order now, selling for £9.99.
