Everyone knows about Bronco Bullfrog, but what you might not know is that the same writer/director (Barney Platts-Mills) has other movies in his back catalogue, including Private Road.
The Scenester went to see it at the NFT, a rare screening of this 1971 flick and a chance to meet the director too. Not 'mod', but if you are interested in films of the 60s and early 70s, this tale of life in London amongst the hipster and radicals might well appeal.
Check out the review over at Cinedelica – I think (though I'm not sure) that it's one of the next BFI Flipside releases.
