Celebrate a milestone with the Quadrophenia movie 40th anniversary event in Brighton.
It takes place on Sunday 25th August 2019 at Brighton Palace Pier, hosted by Gary Shail and described as ‘the biggest single collection of cast and crew to celebrate this seminal movie’.
That obviously includes Gary Shail, as well as Phil Daniels, Lesley Ash, Ray Winstone, Garry Cooper, Phil Davis. Torah Wilcox and Trevor Laird as things stand, although there is a disclaimer that original cast members are ‘subject to availability’.
On top of that, there are live bands/acts, with Who’s Next, Lee Michael Stevens, The Electric Stars, DJ Drew Stanshall, The High-S, The Regents so far confirmed.
There are also signings and photo opportunities, workshops where you can meet the crew of the film, cast workshops, Q&As and more. If you are a fan of the film, it’s likely to be right up your street.
The website has more details, including times for all the events and if you want to book in advance, you can do just that. But it isn’t cheap. Early bird tickets are now on sale for £95 via the website, which apparently also entitles you to welcome drinks and canapes, a souvenir programme, fish and chip supper with dessert and a film screening (of course). All day entry too.
You can get those tickets and the additional details at the Quad40 website.
And they were Spanish 🤦♂️
