It also looks to be a ‘proper’ auction too, although there is a reserve. More on that in a moment. For now, let’s look at the scooter in question.
That’s a scoot that has undergone a bare metal restoration. In terms of the work, the fork, handle and engine (a result PX series engine) are all checked out, the frame and panels dealt with at the paint shop, the engine casing and alloy parts polished and after all that is done, a restoration specialist has reassembled, with new wiring after assembly.
Note also the 10-inch whitewall continental tyres and that any parts that need replacing have been replaced.
If you fancy this Italian Vespa, the bidding right now is £1,950. But there is a reserve and that has yet to be met.
