If I was to recommend one book as a starting point to reading about the mod scene and mod culture, it would be this well put together collection of extracts and short pieces.
The fact that many of the extracts are from books that are recommended ‘in full’ elsewhere speaks volumes.
The book includes pieces from the likes of Alan Fletcher, Kevin Pearce, Tom Wolfe, Jonathan Green, Colin MacInnes and many more (including currently unavailable works).
