The last gigs of Steve Marriott are being issues as a four-CD box set, going by the name of Watch Your Step: Final Performances ’91.
Of course, everyone should own a copy of the All Too Beautiful Steve Marriott biography. Hopefully Can You Show Me A Dream – The Ronnie Lane Story by Paolo Hewitt and John Hellier will be equally as essential.
If you are in the area, it might be worth checking out Small or Nothing, which is a Small Faces photo exhibition in London.
You might already own a copy, although the original has been out of print for a little while. If you don’t, you can pre-order the new Here Come The Nice – A Small Faces Song Book by John Hellier and Paul Weller.
I think these are the extra ones left over from the promotion of the Midnight Of My Life movie. Anyway, the Steve Marriott t-shirts, which haven’t been made commercially available before, are currently selling on eBay.
This image was actually originally done for a t-shirt for leading Small Faces tribute band the Small Fakers, but it has now been tweaked into a rather cool Don’t Burst My Bubble print by Dry British.
Slightly disappointed that it isn’t bigger, but this 1960s Small Faces shop display panel is still worth mentioning.
