Another thing we mentioned a while back – and The Big Beat Scene by Royston Ellis is another new review online.
Royston Ellis wrote the book in 1960, aged around 19, with the book published in 1961. Reissued once more by Music Mentor Books, it's described as 'an ouspoken expose of the teenage world of rock 'n' roll by 'the king of the beatniks'.
Does it live up to the hype? Check out the review to find out.
