48 years seems a strange milestone to celebrate, but that’s exactly what The Skatalites are doing on their upcoming tour.
The ska legends are doing a 15-date tour of the UK over May and June 2012, although how many original members are doing it isn’t clear – I think there’s one, but you might want to check. Saying that, the music should be all classics, if that’s what you want.
Dates are:
May 15th: The Electric Palace – Bridport
May 16th: The Trinity – Bristol
May 19th: Phoenix – Exeter
May 20th: Concorde 2 – Brighton
May 21st: Old Fire Station – Bournemouth
May 22nd: Islington Assembly Hall – London
May 23rd: The Wardrobe – Leeds
May 24th: Band on the Wall- Manchester
May 25th: O2 Academy – Birmingham
May 26th: O2 Academy – Oxford
May 27th: O2 Academy – Sheffield
